A Passionate Educator From the Beginning
After working as a general education and special education teacher for over a decade in 4 states, I realized that there are many students who are capable of working on grade level, but are missing important skills which prevent academic success.
I left the classroom to work with individual schools, and eventually an entire school district to set up, maintain, and improve their tiered response to intervention. Focusing on creating strong teams, analyzing data, providing quality interventions, and progress monitoring lead to improvements in student outcomes district-wide.
Through hard work, observation, and a great deal of effort, I’ve created a framework which I use to support schools and districts in utilizing a multi-tiered system of support which has not only reduced achievement gaps, but improved school culture over time.
